VIKI failure.While it was good being a VIP member

While it was good being a VIP member. Never got an issue of inability to reset password. Or receive emails that can be opened, resolved. So I’ve been paying for this service which is automatically renewed on iTunes and it been 2 weeks or so that I couldn’t access my account and have to power through long and numerous. ads. No help forthcoming.

good help with hacked account

I had my account hacked, but that was my own fault due to a bad password. Once we got to the first weekday the support got back to me, restored my account, refunded the payment withdraw, and gave me a month free service. Thank you Michelle for all your help!

Don't waste. Use sites in review

Hacking is a BIG issue. Just install a good add blocker on your pc and watch for free with no adds on kissasian, cooldrama, or dramacool9

Terrible application in Roku

Terrible application in Roku, only allows for one language. Currently showing MR Queen and there is no subtitles. The price is too high for the service.

Just like what everybody here is…

Just like what everybody here is saying, I've been a standard viki subscriber for 3 yrs, and last 2 days ago ads started appearing while watching The Wolf only to find out they want me to switch to viki plus !!! Viki has been my go to destressors for a long time especially now that Covid19 is here. I am an avid fan chinese wuxia films/tv series, and some korean Historical Movies. It now cost 9.95 per month but hey the enjoyment and excitement I got from watching good shows are priceless !!!This keeps my sanity intact during these trying times...now am waiting for the premiere of Legend Of Fei with Wang Yibo !

Was good, but now.....

I am now very disappointed with your service. I have been a paying customer for sometime now and shows I have watch before, I wanted to watch again i can't. I am being told to pay more if I want to watch these shows which I could watch before with the service I was paying. Why are you taking it away now. Are you not already getting my money, you want more. Wow.

Tired of Viki Ads and Subscriptions

I recently stumbled upon a website that is a lot better than viki, use dramacool.so if you want good dramas , no ads

The services offered are great

The services offered are great, however, the irregularity of the ads is a big problem especially when they are never-ending.

Viki offers a great/convenient service

Viki offers a great/convenient service, but the quality of their drama is not perfect. Perhaps it’s the way some series were aired? I find playback quality does not even reach HD(or is stretched), let alone 4K.
As far as non paying customers go, Viki is a premium app/service and not favourable for free users. Please, invest the 5$ a month, your time is worth more than a subscription fee. No free websites are worth the quality and your time.

Bad customer service.

I am giving them a one star for lack of customer support. Not responding to any of my request for refund after I accidentally subscribe twice when upgrading my membership. MUST BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE!!!

So disappointed!

I subscribed to Rakuten Viki Plus a few weeks ago and loved it. After watching one seven-episode series and part of 2 other series, English subtitles no longer appear on my TV, even though Viki indicates that it is active on my TV. I do get the subtitles on my iPhone, but do not wish to stream on my phone. Without the subtitles, the membership is worthless for me. Viki’s tech support states that if subtitles are not available, then they aren’t available for that movie/series, but they were available for those exact series a week ago. I do not recommend Rakuten Viki Plus.

Constant buffering

Constant buffering, full stops for 20 mins at a time. "Video Cannot be Loaded" appears on every episode.
Does not resume to video being watched and have to start all over again. Commercials playing in the background and overlapping with video being watched.
Recently takes 2 hours to see a full episode.
